FIREWEED Pin Beading for COVID Frontline Workers
-A group started in Dawson to bead fireweed flower pins for frontline/essentail workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a great way to give back. You can do this beading project and even document some family doing it too if they wish! Click on the file below for the template. Facebook page: Fireweedheroes-Dawson/Yukon -please discuss handing these out with me first! |
Ideas:
-make a 'how to' video or document with photos, the steps to bead, fillet a fish, or making traditional medicine, etc. |

Ideas:
-have a family member pick a few 'mystery' ingredients and try to cook/mix/bake something creative using those chosen ingredients -follow a recipe from start to finish and then have your family and yourself be the food critics -make a meal and focus on how you will present this for visual effects -make a few different items and create a taste test challenge for your family members to eat wearing a blind fold - can they guess the flavours? -create a mini-recipe book with different recipes that you made -have a cook off with a family member and see who wins Master Chef in your house! |
